"Art should not be seen in isolation. Every living space should tell a story, balancing colour, proportion and texture to create a mood. As an interior designer, I relate to art within this context, where the space demands bold, quirky, serene or dramatic. It is all about the feeling one experiences when you walk into a room, be it a classical or modern theme. I discovered that art was “the lipstick” that pulled together the space, creating a mood that evoked a reaction from the beholder."
